Flight diverted, passengers diverted to Bratislava

They were headed to Budapest, but instead found themselves in Bratislava. The misadventure happened yesterday to passengers who had booked the flight from Rimini to the Hungarian capital with Ryanair. The flight was supposed to leave the ‘Fellini’ at 4.40pm and arrive in Budapest around 6.20pm. But the passengers did not arrive in Budapest. Their flight stopped first, in the city of Bratislava in Slovakia. Ryanair decided to divert the flight, communicating this to the passengers at the last minute.

From what was learned yesterday afternoon, the flight that left Rimini was diverted to Bratislava due to adverse weather conditions. And he wasn’t the only one diverted yesterday due to bad weather. Even three days ago, both Ryanair and other companies had diverted some flights departing from Italy elsewhere due to the weather. Last week – in just one day – there were around ten flights directed to Catania and diverted elsewhere due to strong winds. And yesterday afternoon it also happened to one of the planes that left from the ‘Fellini’, headed for Budapest and then diverted to Bratislava. However, as confirmed by the airport, the other flights scheduled yesterday to and from Rimini were regular.
