Two Eucharistic celebrations to honor the anniversary
“The Monastery of the Discalced Carmelites of Legnano, born on 7 May 1949, is currently made up of seventeen sisters: a small fraternal community founded on prayer and with a passion for the kingdom linked to the historical process of existence.
Inspired by the ancient tradition of the first hermits of Mount Carmel, the Carmelite feels Mary as Mother and Sister and Teacher of life in listening to the Word that the Father incessantly repeats in the depths of her heart.
The center of his day is the Eucharist, while the monastic rhythm is marked by the shared celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours.
Seclusion, silence, solitude are a sign and path for a deep immersion in the heart of the Church, of history, of humanity and draw veracity from an intense life of fraternal communion in the tension, renewed daily, to become a mutual gift of reconciliation and unity.
An expression of belonging to the local Church is the liturgical celebration according to the Ambrosian Rite which allows us to share prayer with our brothers by taking on its form and gestures.
In fidelity to our contemplative charism we also try to welcome those who, in research situations, come for a conversation and for a few days of prayerful reflection.”
