The deceased woman was called Beata Boruszkowska, she was born in Poland but had been resident in Tuscany for years together with her son, who lives in another house.

A 63-year-old woman was found dead following a fire in her home. It happened last night in San Lorenzo a Vaccoli, a hamlet of Lucca.
It was around 3.20am when the firefighters intervened due to the flames that had affected a detached house. Inside, on the bed, the lifeless body of a woman was found. Blessed Boruszkowska, born in Poland but has lived in Tuscany for years with her son, who lives in another house. Her body was not affected by the flames and therefore it is presumed that the victim died due to smoke fumes.
At the moment it is assumed that the cause of the fire is accidental. Investigations underway by the police. The 118 health workers were also on site and were only able to confirm the death. The body was made available to the judicial authorities
