The second edition of the national team manager course organized by the Italian Volleyball Federation ended in Rome. Among the 44 students from all over Italy who obtained the title, also Nuccio Incorvaia from Gelato: former volleyball manager and instructor, particularly involved in the world of the youth sector, he was the only participant within the Fipav Akranis committee.
There were 15 meetings in total, of which 4 in attendance in Rome, in the venues made available by Fipav: among these, the headquarters of Corriere dello Sport. «Every organization – explains Incorvaia – needs to have professional figures with a high level of skills in order to be able to achieve its objectives, which is precisely why I decided to undertake this training course. A unique experience that allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the Fipav national sports system, its organization and its functioning in every aspect.”
An important moment from an educational point of view but also stimulating, in which to build relationships with the highest federal officials such as vice president Luciano Cecchi and with the other students: many of them already work within men’s and women’s Serie A clubs.
After years of commitment in the Ecoplast volley Gela company, Incorvaia will no longer be part of the Gela team: «The objective – he declares -, already for the next season, will be to be able to make the skills acquired available in highly structured companies that have objectives clear and shared”.
