The State Police arrested the 29-year-old GSC, 39-year-old IA and 59-year-old DLG from Palermo, accused of aggravated robbery and receiving stolen goods. The policemen of the flying squad, “crimes against property” section, have implemented a precautionary custody order in prison, issued by the investigating judge of Palermo. The three are accused of a robbery that took place in December 2022 against a fuel station in Corso Calatafimi.
In the circumstance, two of the three men with distorted faces and under threat, had an employee hand over 13,500 euros just taken from the self-service cash registers, and then fled in a Fiat Panda, which had been found stolen a few days earlier, and found in the Villaggio Santa Rosalia neighborhood. Thanks to the DNA found in the cigarette butts, the officers managed to trace the robbers who ended up in prison.
