A theatrical and cinematographic review entirely staged and performed by students from 52 secondary schools in Campania. This is the original format of “Campania Young Festival. It’s our turn !”the event scheduled on 14 and 15 May at the Royal Palace of Naples by the director Nadia Baldideputy artistic director of the Campania Festival Foundation.
The appointment falls within the scope of “Orientalife – the school guides for life”organized by the Regional School Office for Campania, by the School Department of the Campania Region, by Sviluppo Lavoro Italia, by Sviluppo Campania, by Inail Direzione Regionale Campania, by Confindustria Campania and by the Campania Festival Foundation.
The 2000 students who participated in the four different laboratory courses proposed in recent months by the Foundation directed by Ruggero Cappucciohave been and will be protagonists of all phases of an innovative live entertainment and cinema project. Starting from the choice of the theme to be addressed and the writing of a script, through a training and creation process, and arriving at the staging of short theatrical works and the screening of films made with cinematographic technique.
The result of this process is the 19 theatrical and 33 cinema and audiovisual outcomes that will make up the program of the Campania Young Festival. Pieces of a mosaic made of inspirations, vitality and discovery of a performative language that cannot ignore study and knowledge.
Also for this reason, as a corollary to the same event, students from all institutes will be involved in dedicated masterclasses which will be held by the actors Francesco Panarellaone of the protagonists of the famous television series “Mare Fuori”, and from Francesco Di Levawinner of the David di Donatello 2023 for his role in the film “Nostalgia” by Mario Martone.
It starts at 10am on May 14th, with a real happening, capable of restoring the sense of celebration and being together in a creative way, while at 1.30pm the Campania Young Festival will come to life with the first of 53 performances open to the public which will enliven a two-day event full of suggestions. Where art will be reflected in the future and the future in art. In a total young team game, capable of intercepting the present and anticipating the world to come.
