Road fines: 700 thousand euros collected in Terni in 2023

Terniin 2023, grossed more 700 thousand euros in fines and sanctions paid by private individuals violations of the Highway Code; the data emerges from the analysis carried out by Facile.it on Siope data, the information system for the operations of public bodies.

Looking at the regional ranking, it ranks first Perugia (5.1 million), followed by Terniwith beyond 700,000 euros proceeds from fines.

Overall, in 2023, the Umbrian capital municipalities collected more than that 5.8 million euros coming from traffic fines.

Analyzing the value per capita, calculated as the ratio between revenues and the number of resident inhabitants, the ranking remains unchanged: in first place is found Perugiawith a per capita fine equal to 32 eurosfollowed by Terni (7 euros).

Looking instead at municipalities with less than 5,000 residentsat the top of the ranking are three municipalities in the province of Terni: Acquasparta (4,415 inhabitants, more than 287 thousand euros), Montecastrilli(4,814, more than 249,000 euros) and Alviano (1,368 inhabitants, 186 thousand euros).
