In the Valtarese facility, the Transalpine defender of the Nerazzurri club underwent surgery on his left knee last May 6th
The surgery on the left knee of Pisa footballer Maxime Jean Robert Leverbe, performed by the team of the Orthopedics and Traumatology operational unit of the Borgotaro hospital, was a perfect success. The French central defender, former Chievo Verona and Benevento, who has been playing in Serie B with the Tuscan team since the last championship, underwent surgery last May 6th in the Valtarese hospital for a lesion to the left medial meniscus; the operation was successfully performed by the orthopedist of the operational unit Alberto Guardoli. The twenty-seven-year-old footballer has already been discharged and immediately began the rehabilitation process with the club’s medical staff.
The Orthopedics and Traumatology operational unit of the “Santa Maria” confirms itself as a reference center for athletes, in particular for footballers: in fact, in the department directed by Riccardo Cepparulo, four footballers have undergone surgical operations since the beginning of the year from Serie B, two from Serie C and two volleyball players, playing in the national Serie B championship.
