Aon, a leading company in insurance brokerage and risk management consultancy, today inaugurates its first branch in Trinacria in Catania, the city of the elephant, in the central Corso Italia 22. Some client companies also took part in the inauguration ceremony , operating in the construction and industrial sectors, as well as representatives of some client associations and the Federmanager Association, with which Aon’s historical relationships are also consolidated in Sicily. The Group thus continues to expand in the country and invest in the territories of Southern Italy, which have a strategic value, considering the wealth of small and medium-sized companies present and the related sectors they belong to. In this context, Aon makes concrete its strategy that combines a global perspective, aimed at understanding and addressing challenges on a global scale, with a local presence, adapting solutions to the specific needs of customers in different geographical contexts.

Sicily is also among the territories covered and, with the opening of the new headquarters in Catania, this presence becomes even stronger and more visible. The new offices, characterized by functional spaces, will welcome customers, accompanying them in strategic decisions for their growth path, making available to them an offer of services and tailor-made consultancy for the management of their risks. Employees and their well-being also play a central role in Aon’s strategy, which with this office aims to improve their experience in the workplace, paying maximum attention and adopting company policies focused on enhancing talent and people’s wellbeing.

“We are very happy to have opened our first office in Sicily, in the splendid city of Catania, a region in which we have long followed companies belonging to various sectors, including for example metalworking, construction, transport, healthcare and the food industry and numerous Public entities. This inauguration represents a very important step for Aon to further strengthen relationships with the territory, working synergistically to meet the needs of our customers”, commented Luca Morandi, General Director and Head of Geographies Northern and Southern Italy at Aon. “The collaboration between Aon and Federmanager Sicilia Orientale marks an important step forward in the relationships between businesses and support bodies. We are excited to collaborate to create opportunities, promote economic development and increase the resilience of businesses in the Territory” stated Marian Conigliaro , President of Federmanager Eastern Sicily.
