Continuity also in the final part of the championship, in practically definitive data: Cesena always has a large following of away fans despite the bans, the obligation to have a fan card and the restrictions also for the Juventus people being the order of the day .
Thus the mid-April update (according to the ‘italiani.it’ website) excludes only the last away match of the season, that of Sassari where there were around 400 (remembering however that the mathematical promotion to Serie B had been achieved at home against Pescara on 30 March) and places the Juventus followers in 33rd place in the ranking among the one hundred professional clubs in Italy, an average of 449 supporters from travel to away matches.
An important number that testifies to loyalty and passion; in fact, if compared to the current Serie B, eleven fans did better. In C, however, Cavalluccio’s followers are fifth but slightly distant from the second position of Mantova (473) which is behind Avellino clearly at the top with 642 fans.
By far the largest away fan base is that of Juve with 2,580 supporters, in the first five positions followed by Roma 2,428, Milan 2,284, Inter 2,264, Napoli 2,112.
To stay in our region, Bologna is in eighth place with an average of 1425.
These are different numbers compared to some time ago when the primacy was held by the Roma fans.
In Serie B Sampdoria leads with 1,288, then Palermo 1,246, Catanzaro 1,095, Bari 900, Reggiana 805 relating to the top five. In eleven therefore better than the Bianconeri, the closest fans are those of Cremonese with 486, not far behind.
As regards Serie C in its own group, i.e. B, Cesena is first with 449 average spectators but in the three groups Avellino leads (642 and 23′ at an absolute national level), then three clubs at a minimum distance from Mantua from Romagna ( 473), Juve Stabia (457), Vicenza (455). However, these rankings can be penalized by the restrictions imposed by the authorities which are often lurking. In Cesena, however, there is a lot of passion even on away games, it’s nothing new and this season’s games have become the comforting dress rehearsals for Serie B.
