“Everyone in Ghirlandina!” is the title of the theatrical guided tour of the Civic Tower scheduled for Sunday 12 May in two shifts, at 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm. The history of the Ghirlandina, explained by the guide, will come to life in the characters that visitors will meet during the climb and from whom they will be able to listen to stories, anecdotes and songs.
The visit, open to a maximum of 25 people per shift, is organized by the Ars/Archeosistemi cooperative with the City Promotion and Tourism service of the municipal administration. To participate you need to book on the VisitModena website (www.visitmodena.it/it/esperienze/esperienze-artecultura/visite-teatralizzate-con-attori). The participants meet at the Ghirlandina ticket office, in via Lanfranco, a quarter of an hour before the start of each shift.
The visit with actors is a pleasant and fun way to get to know the symbolic monument of Modena. The representation, which combines recreational and historical aspects, will use all the spaces of the tower: the stairs and the rooms of the Secchia rapita, the Scientific Instruments and the Torresani.
Tickets for the guided tour can be paid directly at the Tower ticket office on the same day of the visit. Entrance to the Tower costs 3 euros; reduced price 2 euros (for children and students aged 6 to 26, over 65s and groups of at least 10 people); free for children up to 5 years old, for people with disabilities and their companions, guides and interpreters, teachers accompanying classes.
