Zampa Fest awaits you at the Ferrari Park in Modena

Livisto – multinational veterinary pharmaceutical products – kicks off the third edition of Zampa Fest, the initiative dedicated to fun and relaxation shared between dogs and humans. Zampa Fest 3 is preparing to welcome four-legged guests and their owners with a program full of proposals: from the inevitable dog parade with their owners to the canine aperitif, and many other dog-sporting and educational activities. A festive afternoon that will be held on Sunday 12 May from 2pm to 6pm at the Orange Kiosk 182 immersed in the greenery of the Ferrari Park (entrance from Strada San Faustino 182). The event, promoted by Livisto, is sponsored by Municipality of Modena, ENPA – National Animal Protection Agency And Radio Bruno and organized by the agency Labyrinth. Entrance to Zampa Fest and all scheduled activities is free. In case of rain the event will be postponed to Sunday 19 May.

We start with the amateur dog parade, a fun moment where the dog, accompanied by its owner, walks the catwalk trying to earn the applause and smiles of the public present. Two new judging categories will be added to the traditional parade: seniority and similarity between dogs and owners, to enhance the principles of connection, joy and love. The parade will start from 4 pm, and to participate you must register online at zampafest.deltatic.it (it will not be possible to register directly for the event). There are also many other activities planned, always designed for four-legged friends. The novelty of this third edition will be the participation of Modena Fire Brigade Dog Unit, who will demonstrate intervention activities in emergency cases. You will be able to participate in dynamic activities such as mobility and dog agility, both non-competitive disciplines consisting of obstacle courses where the dog, together with his “human”, can maintain and strengthen the relationship of trust. During the afternoon, various personalized educational courses and basic commands are also planned to strengthen the relationship between dog and owner, including Nosework: a fun and stimulating sporting dog activity in which dogs use their exceptional sense of smell to find objects hidden. At Zampa Fest it will also be possible to learn more about the work of zookeepers and meet with dog educators. In the Amici Pet area you can participate in many awareness and information activities, such as Pet Therapy – to discover the rehabilitative and therapeutic potential of the relationship with animals – and Dog Tourism – which provides useful advice for planning pet-friendly holidays. And for those who parade, the convivial and relaxing moment finally arrives with the canine aperitif, in an area completely used for relaxation, near the bar, surrounded by the greenery of the Ferrari Park where you can enjoy a good aperitif, for friends of four paws and their owners. Furthermore, this year too it will be possible to purchase Zampa Fest t-shirts, the proceeds of which will be donated to the PTRI School to finance its various activities in the area, and in particular the Respira-MO Pet Therapy project for the patients of the Modena Polyclinic .

“This third edition of Zampa Fest will also be full of new features that we hope will be appreciated – he explains Sara Lugli, Head of Marketing Livisto Italia –. New categories are added to the traditional fashion show format to make the event even more engaging. In this third edition, in addition to the many dynamic activities, we wanted to give great space to raising awareness and information on issues related to the world of our four-legged friends and the relationship with their owners.

We are happy to see that this event has now become an anniversary in the area, to which more and more associations enthusiastically join: in addition to those of last year, we will also have the Fire Brigade as special guests with their dog unit and volunteers, who will perform in a demonstration. We remind you that participation in the event is free, and we hope it will be a success like previous years. It is a great satisfaction to see this initiative grow and share with all the participants that relaxed and playful atmosphere which ultimately attracts even those who do not have dogs in the family”.
