Exhibition “Giacomo Matteotti, a Story of Everyone”

  • From April 5th to July 7th 2024

The exhibition “Giacomo Matteotti: A Story of Everyone” at Palazzo Roncale in Rovigo, from 5 April to 7 July, presents a complete portrait of the political and private man. It explores his political, trade union and parliamentary commitment, as well as his family life and personal passions. The objective is to show Matteotti in all facets of him, from the martyr to the concrete and committed figure in society. Curated by Stefano Caretti with the collaboration of Studio Origoni Steiner, it is promoted by the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo Foundation and other institutions.

Personal exhibition by photographer Marzia BENATELLI entitled “Terra Nostra (The Delta)”

The Decorative Arts Cultural Club of Piazza Annonaria-Rovigo, as part of the event “MAY…MONTH OF PHOTOGRAPHY” hosts from 11 to 17 May 2024 the Personal exhibition of the photographer Marzia BENATELLI entitled “Terra Nostra (Il Delta)”.

BENATELLI exhibits around twenty photographs taken in Po Deltashots taken both with the mirrorless camera and with the mobile phone, trying to range from the landscape to the detail to capture the most diverse aspects of this territory.
His intent is to enhance this “Our Land” because heritage rich in species, ideal habitat for birds, amphibians, reptiles and landscape that still manages to retain its original formula.
The photos are all in color because a territory with infinite spaces so rich in water, skies, nature and vegetation could only be represented otherwise.

Inauguration on Saturday 11 May 2024 at 5.30 pm.

Opening with free admission on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.00-12.00 and 17.00-19.00.

Exhibition under the patronage of the Municipality of Rovigo.

Beyond the landscape: “I will give you a Rose…”

AquaLab, with the patronage of the Province of Rovigo, the Municipality of Rovigo, the Municipality of the City of Fratta Polesine, the Municipality of San Bellino and the Municipality of Lendinara, proposes a cycle of urban and suburban routes in the Middle and Upper Polesine area, of historical, artistic, naturalistic and traditional interest.

Beyond the landscape consists of a series of cultural itineraries aimed at adults, children and families, to learn about specific aspects of the history of the Polesine area, with the aim of enhancing particularly valuable realities through walks, visits to museum sites, tastings and sensory experiences.

Real “slow” trips to discover the treasures of our territory of inestimable value!

Exhibition on Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec

The exhibition at Palazzo Roverella in Rovigo celebrates Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, a well-known French artist of the late 19th century, focusing on his pictorial work rather than his posters. In addition to his masterpieces, the exhibition presents works by other contemporary artists, offering an overview of the Parisian artistic environment of the time. Featuring more than 60 works by the artist, out of a total of over 200, the exhibition offers a lively look at the Parisian art scene. Edited by Jean-David Jumeau-Lafond, Francesco Parisi and Fanny Girard, with contributions from Nicholas Zmelty.
