Olbia. Thanks to the Circolo Nautico rit comes back the sailing spectacle in the center of the city. Sin fact it will be the body of water Between thethe pier Brin e the Bosazza pier, that the municipal administration has recently intended for the organization of international events of different aquatic disciplines, to host the regional selection of Optimist class cwho will designate the team that will represent Sardinia at the next Italian championships.
The competition, organized by Olbia association seight the aegis of the Italian Sailing Federation and the patronage of the Municipality of Olbia, will be therefore visible to everyone from the new beautiful seaside promenade. The teams participants, composed dto very young athletes coming from the most important and active clubs in the whole of Sardegna, will compete for qualification for the Italian team racing championship dello historical monotetype.
Started 76 years agothe Optimist is probably the greatest success story of any boat class. The Optimist is in fact today the largest racing class, with approximately half a million boats sailing worldwide, wasand it remains, a real gym for generations of skipper.
A gym which has shaped some of the most successful sailors of world sailing. The appointment is for the days on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May but from today it will be possible to admire it the trainings of the boys at Brin Pier. The splendid venue will frame the event of the Nautical Club which in addition to the boats hosts the technical area for judges and athletes in the Clubhouse.
