Closure of TeamSystem’s Jesi headquarters with its 300 employees who should be transferred to Pesaro: black smoke after yesterday’s meeting between company top management and the unions. The request to create a coworking office also in Jesi as well as in Ancona and Fabriano (both with a maximum of forty seats) was not accepted. Not even that of 100 percent smartworking, even if those who have the ‘short’ week of the so-called “light Friday” and live over 80 km from the Pesaro headquarters could reach 80-90% according to what emerged in yesterday’s meeting. Concessions for employees who will have to travel to Pesaro are still being examined. Employees who did not take part in the light Friday were more penalized with a 10% reduction in salary, to be partially recovered through welfare bonuses. Great disappointment from the unions who consider the proposals received from top management to be unsatisfactory. The company has announced a new meeting to evaluate everything, after which the workers in the meeting will decide whether to go back to mobilizing as in the strike of March 19th.
