A different party, almost a closing of the season and a particular birthday celebrated in recent days in a well-known venue in the city by some athletes, managers and members of the Table Tennis Brindisi.
The Association of president Mino Montanaro, a historical figure of local pong, this season, after over 20 years, presented a women’s team in a regional C series championship and continues its activity in the gym in via Fulvia where children and adults every every day they train to improve their game while having fun and trying to be ready for the tournaments that will take place in the coming months. All in light of the next season which promises to be full of new features with the desire to reconfirm the women’s team in Serie C, to try to register a team in Serie D and to have some “budding talents” compete in various regional competitions.
The party the other evening was the opportunity to celebrate, in a single moment, three birthdays through a surprise dinner.
Myriam Quartathe captain of the Serie C and former Italian CSI champion, Doriano Orphan former player and current sporting director of the club e Dario Recchiahead of communications for the TT Brindisi and instructor of the Serie C team, all celebrated their firsts together60 springs” which they accomplished within a month of each other, having at their side the women’s team from Serie C and some seniors who participate in the weekly lessons. A fun evening where there were truly hilarious moments of laughter and anecdotes that spanned the season which is still continuing.
A friendship born around a ping pong table and which grows every day and brings more and more curious people closer to the association.
The evening was spent in the spirit of joy, light-heartedness and good food that Brindisi cuisine has always been able to offer.
The final cake with the wording “I 180’S THE ORIGINAL BEST TIME” it was obviously devoured in an amen under the watchful eye of the instructors who from the next day planned the training sessions to quickly dispose of the food and drinks ingested during the evening.
Certainly a “different” birthday for Myriam, Doriamo and Dario who they will not forget so easily but who at the end of the evening were visibly happy and excited for the surprise party reserved for them.
