Viterbo – Over one hundred thousand photos to look at on the smartphone of the 24-year-old from Viterbo who accuses Rudy Guede of sexual violence, injuries and mistreatment. Over one hundred thousand, but the photograph considered decisive for the purposes of the accusation would be missing, to seek and crystallize which the defense requested the evidentiary incident on the smartphone of the ex-girlfriend who accuses him. The lawyer Carlo Mezzetti, who defends the 37-year-old, explains it. “For now, no one has gone into the matter,” says the lawyer. Night and day the party consultant is on the cards in view of the next hearing.

The 37-year-old of Ivorian origin who served 13 years in prison for the death of Meredith Kercher, has been subjected since 6 December to the precautionary measure of a ban on approaching within 500 meters of his ex and since February also to a year of special surveillance for the first two crimes, while the investigating judge rejected prosecutor Paola Conti’s request for house arrest.
In the meantime, the defender Carlo Mezzetti requested and obtained the evidentiary incident on the smartphone of the alleged victim, on which the investigating judge Savina Poli ordered a impartial assessment, entrusted to the expert Luigi Gruttadauria of Rome, illustrating how he arrived at the report, filed on May 2, at Wednesday’s hearing, postponed to next week for a technical integration and to give the parties time to study the papers.
“Nothing has emerged except that there are over 100 thousand photographs and among these there would not be exactly the one the defense was looking for, i.e. a photo attached to the complaint about which we had doubts. It being understood that, given the sea magnum, it could still emerge, a positive fact, which certainly goes in favor of Rudy Guede”, Defender Carlo Mezzetti is keen to underline.
“No one entered into the merits, so no conclusions were reached. We talked about the thousands of photos to be examined, messages, chats, exchanges on social media, between the offended party and my client and also with two or three other people. But it was a purely technical hearing, in which the expert did not provide any elements of merit, he said he had extracted more than 100 thousand photos and an enormous number of data, but without going into detail”lawyer Mezzetti is keen to underline.
“The only thing said is that he did not find an important photo for the accusatory thesis, the very photo for which we had requested the evidentiary hearing on the girl’s smartphone. All that is missing is the photo indicated by the offended party as evidence against Rudy Guede. I repeat that in no way did the coach enter into the matter.”reiterates the lawyer.
