This year “Boom! The Children’s Festival” doubles: on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May the fifth edition will take place with a preview on 18th May when the Magical Family Night will be proposed: magicians, magical creatures and owls await the children and their families at the Broletto for spell lessons and duels with the sound of magic wands, while in Piazza Duomo a hilarious, engaging and interactive baby music show, designed to amaze children and bring joy to the whole family with songs and dance choreographies , traveling micromagic and many surprises!
But be careful because on this magical night it is possible to meet a real Norwegian dragon on the streets of Novara!
In the afternoon of the 19th, the highly anticipated event of the BOOM festival, now in its fifth edition, will include games, entertainment and free fun in 11 squares in the center of Novara, all made possible thanks to the support of many local bodies and associations.
The festival is dedicated to children and families and tailor-made for them; creative activities, magic, circus, sport, workshops, music, theater that will welcome children to discover the urban space, transformed for a day into a domestic and play place.
Numerous city areas will be involved: the streets and squares of the centre, the courtyard of the Novara Castle while the city museums will be open and free

PIAZZA DUOMO
Baby Music Dance: a special party for children with colored light effects, a large screen, hosted by the Magician Mariano and Paolo Simonotti and the participation of DJ Emma and her talented choreographers, ready to make everyone present dance, with the most beautiful songs for children.
At the Broletto organized by Santa Claus’ Grotto which has been organizing Christmas in Ornavasso for years and events such as the Castle of Surprises in Oleggio Castello there will be:
⁃ The Gamekeeper of the Forbidden Forest with the sidecar and lessons on magical creatures
⁃ Falconry and free flight of nocturnal birds of prey
⁃ The Professor of Dark Arts and Spells
⁃ A “real” Norwegian dragon walking through the streets of the center
