The Porto coach, a former Inter player, had signed a contract until 2028 with the old president: he can free himself for the Rossoneri

Stefano Pioli prepares his last games at Milan. On Skysport they took stock of the future of the Rossoneri bench and the departure of the coach with whom the club won the scudetto in 2022 is now a certainty. From what the satellite channel reports, the reflection on the new coach is still open: “It seems that the club wants to do things calmly so as not to make mistakes in the most important choice of the new cycle. The new coach will have to be aligned with the club’s choices and have important incentives towards victory“, they explain from the satellite channel.

The names in question at the moment would be mainly two: the current Porto coach and former Inter player, Sergio Conceicao and the former Roma coach, Fonseca. In the last hours, the acceleration of Marseille would have arrived on the latter. For this reason, the former Nerazzurri player would be the coach with the best chance of coaching Milan. But he has a contract with the Portuguese club until 2028 and will have to terminate it. His fate on the bench of the Portuguese team has changed. It was Jorge Pinto who extended his contract and now the president is another, André Villas-Boas. The two met today and it is plausible to think of a termination of the contract. Another hypothesis remains that of Thiago Motta but the former Inter midfielder seems much more inclined towards Juve and in any case has an agreement with Bologna, at the end of the season they will decide what to do.
