Novara – There is a new blue flag flying high, in the center of the field: it is Sara Bonifacio, eight seasons in the Igor Volley jersey, who is the first confirmation for the 2024-2025 season. For her, who won a Scudetto, two Italian Cups, a Wevza Cup and a Challenge Cup in Novara, a new two-year contract, expiring in June 2026. Currently engaged with the national team, achieved thanks to an over the top season, the Piedmontese power plant represents the second piece of the new blue mosaic, after the confirmation of coach Lorenzo Bernardi already in the winter.
Sara Bonifacio (central Igor Gorgonzola Novara): “I’m happy to continue my journey with the blue shirt: Novara is now home and Igor Volley was the first club that wanted to focus on me at a very young age, giving me confidence and offering me an important opportunity this time too. A new course is emerging, we are returning from a very positive season but we will have to start from scratch and rebuild that certainty and enthusiasm that led us to win the Challenge Cup and play an over the top championship. Personally I can’t wait to take on this challenge”.
