During the final of Beijing Expressconducted by Costantino della Gherardesca Thursday 9 May 2024 on Sky Uno and streaming on NOW TV, we witnessed the victory of Damiano and Massimiliano Carraranamed Pastry chefswhile the Italy Argentina (Antonella Fiordelisi and Estefania Bernal) have arrived second in the rankings and the Friends (Maddalena Corvaglia and Barbara Petrillo) were eliminate at the end of the first day of the final. Let’s remember together the journey of the two winners of the 11th edition of Beijing Express.
The winners of Beijing Express 2024: the Pastry Chefs
The Pastry Chefs are the winners of the May 9th episode of Beijing Express, and they made it, as always, relying only on their own strength between cricket matches, steep stairs and small unexpected events. Often the first to arrive on the red carpet, even in the final they did not disappoint their audience, aiming higher and higher without ever giving up, starting from the search for fruit at the beginning of the episode – among other things found in a very short time compared to the other couples -, then moving on to look for pilgrims dressed in white to take with them to the temple at the bus station (they also called the drivers who however had to work and so they got off), ending with a cricket match (certainly not one of their favorite sports), dragon cards to find, plants to plant and climbs to travel at speed.
In short, the two pastry chefs, during the race for victory, did not miss anything, including accusations from Maddalena Corvaglia (the Friends), who thought they had “stolen” 3 of their pilgrims from him, the many “no”s encountered during the search for accommodation for the last night to spend in Sri Lanka, and Massimiliano’s headache due to the long uphill staircase to climb. Finally, we also discovered that Damiano Carrara can’t wait to have a child (a desire that he will soon satisfy, given that his wife is pregnant), with his brother commenting that he wants to become an uncle soon.

Once they realized they had won, great at a typical Sri Lankan dance, the Pastry Chefs said they were (and appeared) enthusiastic about the goal achieved: they won the 11th edition of the show and they can’t believe it. This joy, beyond the wonderful embrace that they exchanged immediately after the victory, was shared with the public by those directly involved, with Maximilian who commented: “Winning this program made us to redeem Once again”And Damian who added: “We put ourselves to the test. We have rediscovered our willpower. We still have many goals and many dreams in this life. What if they told us ‘leave again’ tomorrow? Let’s start once again“.
