Psr Umbria, 3 notices for forestation and afforestation plants on agricultural and non-agricultural land

Public notices relating to

– Intervention SRD05 – Forestry/afforestation systems and agroforestry systems on agricultural land
– Intervention SRD10 – Forestry/afforestation systems on non-agricultural land
– Intervention SRD15 – Forestry productive investments

The total financial allocation foreseen for the implementation of the three interventions will be divided into 2.5 million euros for forestation/afforestation systems and agroforestry systems on agricultural land; €450,000 for forestation/afforestation plants on non-agricultural land and 2.7 million for productive forestry investments.

The publication of the public notices is scheduled for the month of May and for them, in the first implementation, the following budget has been defined:

– SRD05 intervention: €1,500,000
– SRD10 intervention: €300,000
– SRD15 intervention: €1,500,000

Going into detail about the specific interventions and the recipients of the Notices, the SRD05 intervention “Afforestation/afforestation systems and agroforestry systems on agricultural land” is aimed at the creation of a natural afforestation system, a short or medium-long cycle arboriculture system, installation of agroforestry systems, silvo-arable systems, silvo-pastoral systems on agricultural and pasture land. The Notice has as beneficiaries public and private land holders, agricultural or similar municipalities, Municipalities, Unions or associations of Municipalities.

For the SRD10 intervention “Forestry/afforestation systems on non-agricultural land” the investment is eligible for contribution if carried out on surfaces of any nature and destination other than agricultural. Lots with a combined surface area of ​​less than 1 hectare are not eligible for the contribution. The SRD15 intervention “Productive forestry investments” is aimed at incentivising, finally, investments aimed at improving the economic value of forest stands and the quality of forest products (woody and non-woody) extractable from the forest and connected to the execution of forestry uses and of forest cultivation.

The investment is therefore aimed at covering the expenses necessary to achieve productive and sustainable forestry and productive woody plantations while guaranteeing environmental objectives and adaptation to climate change. For the purposes of the action, silvicultural interventions are eligible (removals, thinnings, tall trunks of coppice woods, preparatory cuts, any pruning in connection with other interventions) on land in possession, aimed at valorising valuable wood species. and to increase the stability and functionality of the topsoil. Seeding cuts for predominantly coniferous forests are also eligible. Investments aimed at encouraging the growth of the national forestry sector are also encouraged, promoting technical and process innovation as well as the valorisation of company capital.
