Ready to return for edition one, after last year’s ‘pilot’ moment, the ‘People’s Festival’. After last year’s success, the 2024 “Quintanara” season will also have a prologue dedicated to the true soul of the Festival. Next Saturday, starting at 8.30 pm, the courtyard of Palazzo Candiotti will be filled with the colors of the ten districts for the second edition of the “Festa del Popolano”. The event, organized by all the districts with the help and support of the Ente Giostra della Quintana, will be entirely dedicated to those districts who work hard, most of the time behind the scenes, for the success of our event. The evening, in addition to offering a rich buffet for all participants, will also be characterized by various games typical of the Quintana tradition of recent years. During the event, 10 “historical commoners” will also be rewarded, people who with their commitment and love towards Quintana have characterized its own history and contributed to creating the figure of the “commoner”.
“THEthe contribution of the Giostra Institution – they let it be known from Palazzo Candiotti – it was aimed at creating a moment of conviviality and sharing between all the quintanari, demonstrating that, if the colors of the districts divide the city on the days of the Giostra, in the same way they unite it in a single great passion“. Entrance to the evening is free, while it is mandatory to wear the dress of a commoner. The program of the June 2024 event will be officially presented on Tuesday at 11.15 in the Hall of Honor of Palazzo Candiotti.
