Not just European ones: in a month the voters of 17 municipalities in La Spezia will vote for the mayor

In a month the over 53 thousand inhabitants of 17 municipalities in the province of La Spezia will be affected by administrative elections. On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June, in fact, voters will be called to the polls for the European elections, but also to renew city councils and mayors in numerous municipalities.
In La Spezia, as mentioned, there are 17 out of 31, while at a regional level the number rises to 125 out of 234. Of these, 80 percent are governed by administrations attributable to the centre-right.
There are three municipalities above 15,000 inhabitants that will vote in Liguria with the double-round majority electoral system and run-off scheduled for 23 and 24 June: Rapallo, Sanremo and Albenga. The municipalities voting, in addition to those in La Spezia, are 39 in the province of Genoa, 29 in that of Imperia and 40 in that of Savona.
