The investigations carried out by the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Messina continue, under the direction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, aimed at identifying the body which, in the early hours of the morning of 18 April, following a report from a citizen, was found on the Rodia shoreline. , transported by the sea.
The advanced state of decomposition, following the first medical-legal investigations, has so far not allowed us to identify the body, which, however, has evident tattoos on the left thigh and left side.
It is precisely the tattoos that could represent a fundamental element for the development of the investigations, also carried out with the technical-scientific support of the Carabinieri of the RIS of Messina, aimed at giving a name to the body found and ascertaining the dynamics of death, for which deems it necessary to disclose the images.
The discovery could be linked to the other three corpses, found in the sea between 17 March and 14 April, in front of the promontory of Capo Tindari and off the coast of the Aeolian Islands.
