The former headquarters of the Justice of the Peace of viale Mughetti 22, thanks to the agreement signed by the Piedmont Region, the City of Turin, the State Property Agency and the University of Turin with the participation of District 5, it will become home to the offices of the Employment Centre, spaces for the University, public services, as well as places of aggregation, sport and culture.

A retraining financed with 10 million euros made available half by the Development and Cohesion Fund and half by the Pnrr which will allow the start of an urban regeneration process for the entire Vallette district. “The effects for the area – explained Gian Luca Vignale during the presentation of the project to the residents of the neighborhood – will not only be from an educational and employment point of view, but also in economic terms”.

The works, which will start at the beginning of next year and be completed by 2026initially they will concern the buildings A and B and the former gym. Spaces that will host a lecture hall and classrooms for the University of Turin, a co-working area open to the neighborhood and the Employment Centre. Here there will be the offices of AplAcademy, the organizational unit of Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro. Among those who will work within the new Center and those specialized in other active labor policy services, there will be around fifty operators available to citizens and businesses.
