Anna Maniscalchi of Lega Il Tirreno was attacked

LAWN. A League candidate in the next local elections, Anna Maniscalchi, reported that she was attacked this morning, May 9, in the parking lot in front of the Galceti park. According to her account, the woman was approached by a group of people, who she describes as foreigners, one of whom pushed her, causing her to fall to the ground after calling her a “fascist”. According to the candidate, the attackers were drug dealers.

Anna Maniscalchi told what had happened by sending an audio file in the chat of the League’s candidates.

The woman then sought treatment in the emergency room of the Santo Stefano hospital for some bruises.

«First of all I express my closeness to Anna but I cannot help but point the finger at the root cause of so much violence – comments Daniele Spada, provincial secretary of the League – that is, the left’s presumption of always and in any case being on the right side and of covering up their own shortcomings, not to mention conveniences, calling those who don’t think in a certain way fascists and calling those who aren’t and never will be welcoming. Evidently, shouting at the fascist at every turn ends up arousing the fascist instinct of those in Italy, dedicated to serious crimes with the certainty of impunity. Today the mark was exceeded. Today we have gone beyond drug dealing, theft or loitering, which is also to the detriment of the many immigrants who share the values and commitment of our country, and we are faced with people who have learned the lesson of the left: it is enough to define everyone else as fascist to cover one’s mistakes and shortcomings.”
