Adriatici trial, the third hearing

Adriatici’s lawyers ask again reclassify the accusation as self-defense, currently decided as negligent excess of self-defense. The opposing party responds by going against the proposal of Adriatici’s lawyers, asking for the requalification of the trial into manslaughter.
From what height did the shot come?
The technicians present in the Chamber try to reconstruct the scenario by trying to demonstrate the height from which the gunshot was fired. In Court the Coroner Maurizio Merlano states that “As regards the anatomical trajectory it is from left to right, slightly from top to bottom for about 20°“. This highlights two possible scenarios: one of which sees both standing up, or that one of the two was standing bent over the other.
There is no doubt as to the cause of the victim’s death, due to “lesion of large vessels sanguine”and on the altered state of the 39-year-old, which he appears to have been using usually of narcotic substances. The signs that indicated an undeciphered request for help were therefore clear, as sister Bahija decisively states: “Younes needed to be treated and not killed, the law is not the same for everyone”.
