The Carabinieri brass band in the hospital in Novara

The restyling is finished and today, at the inauguration ceremony, the fanfare of the 3rd «Lombardy» Carabinieri Regiment arrives. At 6pm the historic musical formation of the Army will play at the ceremony organized to present the conservative renovation of the facade and quadriportico of the Maggiore hospital in Novara. Thanks to the For Life onlus association, and the collaboration of the provincial police command, the fanfare will perform 12 songs. Made up of 30 musicians from various Italian conservatories, and directed by Chief Marshal Andrea Bagnolo, it boasts a notable repertoire of original pieces and arrangements for various ensembles. With roots dating back to 1820, a period a few years after the creation of the Royal Carabinieri in 1814, he took part in important jazz and soul festivals, collaborating with renowned artists including Albano, Arisa, Mario Lavezzi, Bernard Purdie, Nick the Nightfly and many more.

With the music, the fanfare will be the soundtrack to the presentation of the restoration carried out by the architect Paolo Colombo, which involved the historic facades of the hospital on Corso Mazzini and the precious internal quadriportico, greatly degraded over the years. m.ben.
