In the Labate barracks for a hundred children to thank our mothers/policewomen
Anticipating the day dedicated to Mother’s Day, on the morning of May 8th, the Livorno Police Headquarters welcomed some classes from the primary schools of IC Mazzini/Razzauti and IC Brin at the gym located inside the “V.Labate” barracks. , each accompanied by their respective educators and teachers
Police Commissioner Stellino wanted to strongly thank her policewomen who manage to constantly carry out this dual function of theirs which sees them engaged as mothers and as workers with profound values, therefore both at work and in their families.
The event was enlivened by various moments: the musical one masterfully curated by the Fanfare of the Naval Academy, the sporting one in which some of our representatives of the weightlifting section curated by the Instructor Mammarella Maurizio and of the Livorno fencing curated by the maestro Marco Vannini, (together to Vittoria Ciampalini and Karen Biasco) did their utmost to launch new positive and proactive messages about the importance of sport among young people as an area not only of social aggregation but also of deepening the importance of respecting the rules.
Another particular moment was the one in which the children of the Razzauti School donated (with relative description) to the Police Headquarters a beautiful poster on which the children’s drawings and thoughts dedicated to mothers/Policewomen were shown.
