Project to combat child educational poverty
The campaign to share and send questionnaires identifying the educational needs arising within Terre Educanti to families, parents and teachers has officially started. a project selected by Con I Bambini as part of the Fund to combat child educational poverty.
Fondazione Caritas Senigallia acts as the leader of some local partners involved in the education sector: Casa della Gioventù ODV, Casa della Gioventù cooperative, H Muta cooperative, Next (Fosforo), IC Giacomelli, Un roof association, Le Rondini and the entire Union of Common.
This is a truly unique opportunity for the area: every parent and every student will be able, through the answers to the questionnaire, to have their say on the needs and perception of educational possibilities, anonymously and with a final return of the results. A true experiment in active participation in an area, the educational and scholastic one, which aims to highlight existing strengths and weaknesses and attempt to propose intelligent solutions where fragility is evident. The questionnaires were translated into French, English, Arabic, Russian and Chinese, to reach every family in the area in a widespread way. They are available in digital and paper format, can be forwarded via email or together with the project staff and include a version for students and a version for parents. The data collected will remain absolutely anonymous.
The campaign is called PerTE ! In two words it expresses the complicity with the interlocutor and the desire to reach young people and their parents to build together something new, modern, something that tells of educational richness. PerTE is also an acronym for Extended Plan for the Survey of Educating Lands and will end on 7 June. The goal of creating an educational community is ambitious but teamwork with the various partners is essential to proceed step by step towards its realization. The analysis of needs and situations of educational poverty will serve, in the final phase, to draw up a community educational pact that involves the entire community on fundamental issues such as education and instruction.

The project was selected by Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to combat child educational poverty. The Fund was born from an agreement between the banking foundations represented by Acri, the National Third Sector Forum and the Government. It supports interventions aimed at removing economic, social and cultural obstacles that prevent minors from fully enjoying educational processes. To implement the Fund’s programs, the social enterprise Con i Bambini was born in June 2016, a non-profit organization entirely owned by the CON IL SUD Foundation. www.conibambini.org
