The fantastic season of the season ended by reaching the last available finish line RVM Palestrina. The president’s team Daniele Imola they also won on the pitch at Anchevisa (1-0 with a goal from Luca Salvati), finishing with an incredible 80 points thanks to 25 wins and 5 draws. Therefore the Prenestina training set up by the sporting director Dino Giudici and coached by mister Stefano De Matteis managed to conclude its wonderful journey without defeats: “An incredible year – says the Imola president –. We knew we had set up an excellent staff thanks to the moves of the sporting director Giudici and the management and field qualities of mister De Matteis, a who knows how to get the most out of his players. We never thought we would dominate the championship in this way and then end it unbeaten. It hasn’t been easy to keep the tension high in these last few weeks, the group was really squeezed by one season lived at a very high intensity and there were also some absences to manage. But the team once again demonstrated great willpower and a cohesive team spirit. I would say that we managed to write a piece of history in the glorious journey of football in Palestrina which has experienced very high moments in the past”. Now it’s time to think about the future: “In the next few days we will meet with the coach and the sporting director to understand what to do in view of next season. There is a desire to continue together”. Imola also talks about the company’s ambitions both for the immediate future and for the years to come: “We don’t want to be a chimera in Promotion and therefore we will set up a group worthy of that difficult category which next year will once again be made up of four groups and no longer five. As far as long-term objectives are concerned, there is undoubtedly the desire to bring this place back to at least Excellence and we will give ourselves a couple of seasons to do so.”
