The second edition of the Giro della Murgia will take place on Sunday 12 May in Mariotto. It is a cycling sporting event included in the national competition calendar which will see the participation of runners from all over Italy. This edition will be held over a length of 300 kilometres. starting at 11pm on Saturday, all at night. In conjunction with this event, a quadrangular football match will take place on Saturday 11 May on the redeveloped Palombaio pitch, starting from 3pm.
On Sunday morning, awaiting the arrival of the runners, starting from 10am, in Piazza Roma there will be the official delivery of the new defibrillator which will be available to our community. The ten fellow citizens who will participate in the training course on the use of this tool, vital in case of need, will also be presented. The football quadrangular awards ceremony will follow and, considering the particular importance of the day, a tribute will be reserved for all the mothers present at the event.
Finally, from 18 to 24 May Mariotto will host another event on the theme of biodiversity. More details will be provided next week and the program will be published.
