Disqualified for one year for the punch given to the referee in the regional under 17 students’ match

ROVIGO – One year of disqualification, until 8 May 2025, for kickingthe regional Under 17 students of the Rovigo Cathedral who gave a punch the referee in the match againstArcella.

It was established by FIGC sports judge thus motivating the judgment: «The referee reports that as he was leaving the pitch he was treacherously hit from behind by a violent punch to the right ear, which caused him severe pain and a feeling of dizziness. He was able to identify the perpetrator of the gesture, while he was moving away quickly, because he was still wearing the jersey with the number. The referee returned with difficulty to the changing rooms and, in addition to the dizziness, noticed a slight redness, which he did not attach particular importance to. When he returned home in the evening, he felt severe dizziness, accompanied during the night by a sense of nausea and pain. He went to the emergency room in the morning and was found to have right ear trauma with a prognosis of seven days.”
In Promotion, disqualification for one match against S. Maistrello and Banin (Scardovari). In the First category a round goes to Oladele and Veronese (Fiessese), Galassi (Badia Polesine), Bortolero (La Rocca), Mazzucco (Union Vis). In Second category, 80 euro fine at Porto Tolle 2010 for insults by supporters towards the visiting goalkeeper and access of unauthorized persons to the changing room area; 80 euros to Turchese for insults from supporters to the referee and assistant. Among the coaches, there is Fusetto (Destra Adige). Among the players, two rounds in Zucconelli (Arianese); a shift in Santochirico (Stientese), Boscarato (Nuovo Loreo).
In the regional youth championships, regional Under 17, Union Vis-Fossò match, explains the sports judge: «Fossò lodges a complaint against the regularity, as the match was not played on the official pitch but on an adjacent one, still belonging to the pitch municipal. The complainant did not in any way ascertain the situation which had been learned from a house manager. The appeal is rejected.”

YOUNG SEMI-FINALS
Provincial Under 15 Championship of Rovigo, Saturday 11 May at 4.30 pm first leg semi-finals: Arianese-Altopolesine and Fiessese-Porto Tolle; return on Saturday 18 May with reversed fields. The “Pietro Sannia” Fair-Play award for the Allievi championship to Lorenzo Zecca (Porto Viro) and for the Giovanissimi championship to Vicenzo Gargiuolo (Union River).
