Sanremo. «I am an outgoing City Councilor in the Lega Group and I am running for the next municipal elections loyal to my party».
1. Good morning Isaiah, as the title suggests, this slogan is circulating among his loyalists, collaborators and supporters, what is your position on the matter?
Every morning, each of us gets up and due to the condition of our untreated Sanremo comes across unresolved problems. the street furniture and the unkept greenery, the poorly managed roads and the dripping roads full of potholes resulting from neglect, accompany us as we go to work and cause accidents, even fatal ones; a poorly studied and even worse managed separate collection of which even the operators are ashamed and have negative repercussions. Sanremo has become unattractive and dull and often pushes our children to look for work far away in other cities. Unsafety is perceived by many, and our elderly and our children on many occasions are afraid and fearful in many areas and in general do not feel protected.
Our children have no safe places to play and we are forced to move to nearby towns if there is bad weather because although there are indoor municipal buildings, they are not used or even equipped but rather abandoned to decay and neglect.
Even those who have pets and arrive at the miserable dog parks that have been flooded for months after rainy days, are poorly lit and not at all lit, and find themselves faced with areas in complete disrepair with shards of bottles left everywhere by irregulars and thugs who bivouack there undisturbed .
our dignity as citizens is trampled upon when in condominiums in Sanremo, the cellar doors are broken down and thugs repeatedly use them to defecate as in the art complexes of San Martino.
We feel abandoned when we urgently require bollards or speed bumps to slow down the speed of the cars where they speed by very close to the exit door, fearing for the elderly who have always lived there and, in addition to being abandoned, we feel cheated when after some time we see that nothing has been done.
2. What are the points of your program, what do you propose to the citizens of Sanremo?
Compared to the last elections, I am certainly a more confident, more mature person who knows how to take responsibility for choices to support and defend citizens.
People are tired of old discourses and old ways of doing politics, instead they appreciate those who plan and create the future of a community, imagining what is possible.

Precisely for this reason I created a short paper questionnaire where each person expressed their vision, their thoughts and their proposals which gives me a clear answer to the real needs of the citizens of Sanremo.
2. So will you take inspiration from citizens’ reports?
Absolutely yes.
As I just said, it has already been done for months, and this listening is the first step towards the citizen who must be listened to. The collection of questionnaires is underway, and many reported problems have been found and have been included in the League’s political program.
3, Well, thank you, allow me to make a quick comment in closing. You were a municipal councilor in the ranks of the Lega and after the excellent electoral results he is running again for the position of councilor in June, but this surname Isaia has recently been circulating in other parties too, am I wrong?
Look, this thing makes me smile too, Isaia is a not very common surname and in Sanremo there are perhaps two or three of us who have it. What can I say, first of all it is a lady and therefore the voter cannot be wrong. In this regard I received many calls from friends and supporters who rightly asked me for clarification and my response was: “I am Stefano Isaia and I am sure the voter will not make a mistake, Isaia Stefano will write crossing the Lega symbol!”
I just have to conclude and I now turn to the citizen of Sanremo.
on 8 and 9 June we have a right and duty that unites us all: “our vote for the good of Sanremo”
