Lando Norris continues to celebrate his first victory in F1: a special message of thanks arrives from the McLaren driver after Miami
The first victory in F1 is never forgotten: even Lando Norris knows this perfectly well as he finally entered the “circle” of winners of the premier category of motorsport in Miami with his McLaren. The very long wait for the top step of the podium made Miami’s feat even sweeter.
In the American race, in fact, Lando Norris also beat Max Verstappen on the field, came second. For McLaren’s number 4 driver the joy was uncontrollable. Now, a few days later, the social message also arrives to thank the team and all those who have always been by his side over the years.
“They were the craziest days of my life“ writes the English driver from the Woking team. “I’m still speechless and I’m not sure how to comment. It was the biggest dream of my life since I was a child. Winning a Formula 1 race” reads the message.

“I literally can’t stop smiling since lap 33 of the Miami GP. There is so much hard work that goes into achieving this goal and it has finally all paid off. The feeling I felt and continue to feel is fantastic“.
Then comes the special thanks to the entire Woking team and beyond. “The support from my entire team, the Mclaren Papaya fans, other riders and many others, I appreciated every single bit of it. I love you all“.
Finally, what sounds like great promise for the future. “And after all this… we’re just getting started… and yes, I’m still laughing about what happened“. In short, the emotion is still in the air and Norris will not easily forget what happened on American soil.
