PESCARA – First they offered him drugs, then, when he refused, they beat him and sprayed him with pepper spray, finally they took away 300 euros and his smartphone.

For this reason, three young foreigners were arrested for robbery, in flagrante delicto, committed last Monday at the Pescara bus terminal.

The three targeted a thirty-year-old who had just arrived by bus. The Pescara Police arrived at the identity of the robbers thanks to targeted surveillance and observation services initiated after discussions with the Abruzzo transport companies and following reports received of groups of young people who, in the so-called result area, were annoying passers-by, travelers and bus drivers.

Once a call was received to the Operations Room of the Police Headquarters, searches were started by the crews of the Flying Squad, the Flying Squad and the Abruzzo Crime Prevention Department, the officers therefore managed to identify the three young people still in possession of part of the money and the stinging spray.

At the same time, they examined the images of the video surveillance system installed at the bus terminal, gathering further evidence against the three young people who were arrested and made available to the Judicial Authority of the Pescara Prosecutor’s Office and the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of L’Aquila.

All three were reported for aggravated assault, two of them also for possession of a weapon, having been found in possession of knives.
