PESCARA. Gang of young criminals are a nightmare for passers-by, travelers and bus drivers in the bus terminal area. They “enjoyed” annoying the unfortunate and often even robbing them. After a period of checks, the Police arrested three young people of foreign nationality in flagrante delicto.
Last Monday the three robbed a 30-year-old of Pakistani origin who had just arrived in Pescara by bus. The latter reported to the officers that he had been surrounded by some young people who approached him with the excuse of offering him some narcotic substance and, when he refused, they repeatedly beat him and sprayed him with pepper spray, causing injuries, then judged to be cured in 7 days, robbing him of the sum of 300 euros and his smartphone.
As soon as the call arrived at the Police Headquarters Operations Room, investigations and searches were immediately started by the crews of the Flying Squad, the Flying Squad and the Abruzzo Crime Prevention Department, engaged in the intensification of controls in the area and so , a little later, they managed to identify the three young people, perfectly corresponding to the perpetrators of the robbery, still in possession of part of the money, the stinging spray and the clothes worn during the commission of the criminal event, despite having partially changed, probably for the purpose of to hinder research. Once stopped, the young people allowed the stolen cell phone that they had hidden under the sand on a stretch of beach to be recovered.
The investigators carefully examined the images of the Municipality’s video surveillance system installed at the bus terminal, gathering further evidence against the three young people who were arrested and made available to the Judicial Authority of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Pescara and the Public Prosecutor’s Office. of the Republic at the Juvenile Court of L’Aquila. All three were reported for aggravated assault and two of them also for possession of a weapon, having been found in possession of knives.
