L’AQUILA – “The Local Health Authority, apologizing for the inconvenience caused to users, announces that it has sent a warning to the company that manages the Cup for violation of the provision that requires users to be served, equipped with a number, at closing time”.
The director of the Cup service declared it in a note, Quirino Bisegnaafter yesterday, at the L’Aquila hospital, users waiting at the ticket office were unable to make reservations and payments when closing time arrived.

“A provision of ours dated 19 January – declares Bisegna – obliges the company that manages the service to accept and process, even at closing time, requests from users with a booking number. The violation of this provision by the operators, as a consequence of the serious breach, will lead to the initiation of actions by the Local Health Authority for the protection of its image and for the possible application of the penalties provided for in the contract”.
“Moreover – adds Bisegna – in order to facilitate the disposal of users at the Cup counters of the L’Aquila hospital, the Local Health Authority has already arranged an extension of hours of 360 hours per month. This further effort has allowed us to activate 8 counters at San Salvatore, from Monday to Friday, equivalent to the maximum capacity, and an additional counter on Saturday morning”.
“In June, with the takeover of a new company – concludes Bisegna – maximum attention will be maintained on the management of the service”.
