Alessandro Cattelan is one of the hosts in pole position for the post-Amadeus. In fact, since he arrived at Rai, viewers have been hoping that he will be given a prime time program or that he will even be at the helm of the Sanremo Festival. In the meantime, however, the 43-year-old is also courted by Sky. Satellite TV seems to be interested in bringing home one of the most popular faces of the moment. This indiscretion was revealed by Dagospia, the site edited by Roberto D’Agostino. There would be “a double offer on the table: hosting the X Factor and a new late show”.

According to what Giuseppe Candela writes, “Cattelan and his working group would like to continue the path started in Rai1, after the first evening they hope for a step forward towards Sanremo”. In fact, leaving Rai now could be a misstep, especially if the presenter aims to arrive at Ariston. One of his “rivals” in the public television service could be Stefano De Martino, also young and talented. It is called a “contractone” and has been referred to by many as the heir to “Your Business”.

But the Sanremo 2025 puzzle remains. One of the most insistent voices is the name of Carlo Conti, already an expert in the mechanisms of the most followed singing event in Italy and with a lot of experience behind him.
