In the great celebration of Cesena, with almost 12 thousand spectators to pay homage to the record-breaking ‘Cavalluccio’ promoted to Serie B after an extraordinary journey (96 points), Perugia acts as sparring player already thinking about the playoffs. The red and whites’ regular season ends with a new setback. In the first half the defeat matured, with a header by Prestia and a penalty kicked converted by Corazza (foul by Bartolomei on the same Cesena attacker). Perugia not very dangerous, on the pitch with a particular tactical module, a single striker with Agosti close behind. Little else to say, few emotions other than the applause of the home crowd for the Juventus favorites led by Mimmo Toscano. For Perugia the playoffs now begin, as fourth in their group. The home debut, single match, Tuesday 7 May (unless postponed due to the ‘Taranto case’).
