SAVONA – A man was hospitalized under code red after being wounded by a gunshot.
It happened in an apartment in via Quadra, in Savona just before 11pm.
From a first reconstruction it would seem that the man, a foreigner, was threatening some compatriots with a knife. At that point, police officers intervened on the spot and shot him after trying to stop him in vain with the taser. The man was apparently hit in the abdomen.
The man was transported conscious, under code red, to the San Paolo hospital. Investigations underway to understand what happened.
