Savona: Villa Zanelli, 800 visitors in the first three weekends

There are 821 people, Savona residents, enthusiasts and tourists, who visited the renovated building Villa Zanelli in Savona in the first three weekends of opening. Ten guided tours planned between Saturday and Sunday, all sold out. The initiative is carried out by the Liguria Region, through Arte Genova, and aims to satisfy the great public demand received with the three open days in March.

“The numbers of these first reopening weekends demonstrate the great interest in Villa Zanelli and the extraordinary renovation work we have done – said the regional councilor for construction Marco Scajola – We have given life back to one of the highest examples of Art Nouveau style in Italy, believing, from the beginning, in an ambitious recovery project financed with 6.6 million euros. We will continue with this initiative in maximum collaboration with the Municipality of Savona.”
