George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have landed on Lake Como for their new Italian summer. The star and the lawyer, married since 2014, will spend the summer at Villa Oleandra, a villa to which they are both deeply attached. The weekly Who photographed the couple together with the little ones Ella and Alexandertheir children, during lunch in a restaurant not far from their villa (which starting this year will have Chiara Ferragni and Fedez as neighbors, who have bought a villa located right in front of that of the American star).
Clooney’s love for Villa Oleandra
Purchased in 2002 for 10 million euros, over 20 years Oleander villa has increased its value tenfold. But Clooney has no intention of selling his Italian “base”. Indeed, just recently he had let it be known that he wanted to reduce his professional commitments in order to be able to enjoy his family and their favorite places. “We need to rethink how we are leading our lives”, the actor had confessed, “It doesn’t mean Amal will stop taking the cases she wants, it just means she won’t take six. And I’m not working four jobs, I’m working one. We will spend time with our children and travel again. We have a house with a lake and a rope swing”.
George Clooney’s VIP guests at Villa Oleandra
George Clooney, Amal and their children spent the first part of the summer in the recently purchased villa in Provence, before moving to Sicily, to Marzamemi. They have only arrived in Laglio a few days ago where they will spend the rest of the summer together with a series of more or less famous guests and friends. Last week actor Bill Murray was a guest of the Clooneys. In the same days, Amal’s mother had also been a guest of the couple. George and Amal have learned to carve out time to spend with their children. Ella and Alexander were born in 2017. They are now 6 years old and already as chic as their mum.
