Ghali continues his pro-Palestine appeals and did so, this time, by directly attacking the Met Gala – on social media. The singer complained that an international stage like that of the event created by Anna Wintour did not lead no one to take a stand on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: «The Met Gala without words on Palestine is just a great distraction at the moment – explained the singer -. No one has paid even a second of attention to show support for what is happening in that land.”
Ghali then insisted on frivolity of clothes given the unwillingness of the well-known faces present to take a position on the conflict: “F*** your clothes, it was bizarre anyway to see only silent zombies working for a crumb of fame at a higher table. Stop it to use us only when you need it. All eyes on Rafah.”
So while waiting for your next job, “Paprika”, which will be released tomorrow 10 May, Ghali reiterates the urgency of not remaining silent: already during Sanremo 2024, at the end of his last performance he shouted “Stop the Genocide”.
