A job offer with an above average salary (2,200 euros net per month) and incentives that aim at the well-being of employees. This is the idea of Christian Gallonetto, a restaurateur from Bressanone looking for “experienced waitresses in view of the summer season” to whom he offers, in addition to the employment contract, also three hours of physical exercise in the gym (included in the 40 hours of work per week) and a bonus for those who stop smoking during breaks at the club.
The special job offer
Gallonetto, already known in Bressanone for his charitable initiatives, presented his job offer for the Villa Resi bar in Varna. «I wanted to launch a challenge to find competent staff, in a period where it is increasingly difficult», explains the entrepreneur to local newspapers. «The salary I offer is above average for a waitress who already knows how to do her job and who doesn’t need to be taught anything, obviously with overtime paid separately. Furthermore, I focus on physical well-being because in practice I pay the employee to train and quit smoking. For me it is important to make people understand that a healthy body works better in symbiosis with the mind, wards off stress and problems, increasing work profitability.”
Millionaire becomes poor by challenge: “I can earn 1 million dollars in a year.” But he fails
Three hours of gym included in working hours
«The most interesting part of this vision of mine – says Gallonetto in the announcement reported by L’Alto Adige – in addition to the increase in the average salary, is that of obtaining 3 hours from the 40 of work, to dedicate them to training in my gym and pay them as if they were working. For me it is important to make people understand that a healthy body works better in symbiosis with the mind, wards off stress and problems, increasing work profitability. In many companies there are gyms inside which are made available free of charge to their employees, but in this case people are not paid to do physical activity.”
