On 9 and 10 May 2024, the Rewards Commission chaired by the Deputy Head of Department met and, as announced in our press release dated 16 April 2024, the treatment of “a part” of the files relating to the penitentiary institutions which during the covid-19 were the subject of riots/unrest, after the two sessions already held in November and December 2023. (as requested, the missing names of some institutions already treated in November and December 2023 have also been integrated, even if some are still missing ).

Penitentiary institutions involved:

CC Siracusa 56 Lodi;
CC Rieti nc 64 Lodi;
CC Isernia 32 Lodi;
CC Trapani 25 Lodi;
CC Trapani 4 Commendations;
CC Salerno 104 Commendations;
CC Salerno 23 NOP Commendations;
CC Matera 25 Honors;
CC Ferrara 98 Lodi;
CC Melfi 6 Solemn commendations;
CC Melfi 15 Honors;
CC Napoli Poggioreale 405 Lodi;
CC Bologna 5 Commendations;
CC Padova 69 Lodi;
CC Alessandria 4 Commendations;
CC Roma Rebibbia nc 7 Commendations
CR Altamura no reward;
Some institutes such as Palermo Pagliarelli, Foggia and Termini Imerese have not yet integrated the staff list as requested by the commission.
The lists of the two days of sessions are attached (different from the other times) since we had to eliminate some data for privacy reasons.
We inform you that the commission will meet on 27 and 28 May 2024, where “ordinary cases” will be dealt with again.
For information, it would appear that many penitentiary institutions where riots have occurred have not yet communicated the critical event and the related proposal to the commission.
