This is the then director of Asst Bergamo Est Francesco Locati (now director of Asst Papa Giovanni); the then general manager of the Asst Bergamo Est Roberto Cosentina; the former medical director of the Alzano hospital Giuseppe Marzulli; and the director of the Bergamo ATS Massimo Giupponi.
They were accused in various capacities of a negligent epidemic that developed within the Alzano hospital, where on 23 February 2020 the first positive patients in the Bergamo area were officially registered; of negligent injury to 35 employees; of the death of a doctor and a nurse; of false ideology for having communicated facts different from reality; and refusal of official acts for not having promptly adopted measures to contain the epidemic.
In the request for dismissal for the negligent epidemic, the murders and the negligent injuries, the reasoning with which the Brescia ministerial court last June dismissed the positions of the former prime minister Conte and the former minister Speranza is recalled: that is , which lacks the connection between cause and effect.
