Raffaello Tonon becomes the protagonist of Morning 4. Federica Panicucci warns the 44-year-old live that his skin patch has come off. “Look, it’s come loose!”he exclaims. Tonon talks about the skin patch on the show. “I have this silicone, it is a very thin silicone cuticle, on which the hair is implanted. I can pull very well because there is a medical glue that is also breathable. I I started losing my hair in high school and from there until I was 30 it was real hell for me. This cuticle is applied to the area where you have baldness, a cast is taken, a very professional thing is done. Then afterwards some of your hair is taken, sent to the laboratory, so that the other hairs are also the same color and texture. I l‘I did it eight years ago, I was the first man to use this patch”tells.
Unfortunately the accident is just around the corner, when you pull your hair too much, you yourself cause it: the patch comes off. Raphael tries to fix it. On the ‘toupee’ adds: “Why did I do it? This is the same issue as liposuction. Because I no longer liked myself when I looked at myself in the mirror. I saw that I had less and less hair. The maintenance? Every month. I I didn’t have the transplant due to fear of rejection. The husband of a friend of mine wanted to be long-haired, he underwent surgery in Italy and was rejected, so he saw the pain of hell.”
The commentator clarifies how he takes care of his patch: “Once every 30 days I have to spend two hours on maintenance. They peel off the patch, which is taken to a room where treatments are done to ensure hygiene and color. How much does maintenance cost? In the package there are two or three patches per year, but it will cost one pack of cigarettes per year. You get shaved underneath, then after two hours they reattach the patch and you go away. But before the patch I spent 3/4,000 euros and it was all a mess.”
