A year and a half ago a special idea was born, create a one-of-a-kind model, one Giannini Entertainment. Designers and technicians started not from a simple blank sheet of paper, but from a much more ambitious project. Every single example was made by hand, a compact sports car that represents all the Italian craftsmanship and excellence. Fabrizio GrandiCEO of Impero:
We have a strong passion for the automotive world. Before talking about the car, I want to clarify my connection with the Polverelli family (owners of the Giannini). I was born with them, they represented my education. Today they are represented by Silvia. Thanks to an idea of mine, we are here. My mother took me to school in a Giannini, my father had a pickup truck Giannini . This brand has become part of my DNA. An ancient brand with over 100 years of history. A glorious past that boasts two world titles in endurance. This machine represents excellence, because it is made with modern techniques. There Giannini Entertainment It’s a very special car. The doors open like a gull wing, the rims are covered by carbon appendages, the bonnet and the rear trunk are made of aluminium. On our site we have a configurator where you can create the car according to your tastes. Only 200 examples will be made, exclusivity is a winning feature. On my journey I found an exceptional partner, the Maestri Group and Paolo Mancini. I turned to them. The Spettacolo is a hand-sewn car. Over the course of a year it was “touched” by only ten people. We are a leading company in Italy regarding the repair of hailstormed cars. We also deal with the restoration and repair of glass and accident vehicles. I started way back in ’89 as a prototype designer. I worked for many years at Italdesign. Two years ago Paolo Macini (Project Manager and General Director of Maestri Design) he asked me to work on the 500 Giannini. I accepted the challenge, a dream that turned into reality. We worked well with the whole Group. The Giannini Spettacolo is available in two versions: Stradale and Racing.
The starting point is the 1.4 liter T.JETa four-cylinder turbo, significantly revised in terms of electronics, cooling (radiator and intercooler) and supercharging. The power of the turbocharged engine that equips the Giannini Spettacolo is 250 horsepower. The maximum torque is 360 Nm. Thanks to a dry weight of 985 kg, the Italian supercar is able to achieve one maximum speed of 280 km/h for 0 – 100 km/h in approximately 5 seconds.
On the steering wheel there are various buttons that allow you to give free rein to the exhaust system and select three different engine “mappings”. The car was born on the basis of the Abarth 500all the original dimensions have been respected, no changes have been made to the chassis and safety systems.
